Features

  • Top Drive Poly V Raw-Edge Cogged V-Belts (sometimes called Micro V-Belts or Serpentine Belts) have 40% greater power transmission capacity than conventional V-Belts. This single, flexible, low-stretch belt eliminates the need for multiple/matched sets of belts.
  • The continuous high-tensile synthetic cord provides maximum utilization of the face width and ensures uniform tension throughout the belt. Poly V-Belts provide reduced wear and longer life for pulleys and bearings due to lesser static tension and essentially zero slippage.
  • Tests have demonstrated that these belts are capable of producing energy savings of up to 7% compared to conventional V-belts or flat belts.
  • Poly V is a flexible belt and can be reverse bent round a pulley or tensioner, making it suitable for serpentine drive applications.
